Kol Tikvah’s Networking Group started in February 2010 by Rachel Randazzo, H.A.R. Transport & Towing and Home Auto Repair.  Rachel wanted to contribute to the temple in a way that mattered to her, not just because someone asked her to join a committee.  She loves business, and not a lot of people at the temple know about her business because they have never had the space to expand.  HAR purchased a building and moved in July 2009.  HAR is in a position to expand and Rachel wants to help the temple in a way it hasn’t been helped before.  She wanted to develop something amazing, new, and fresh that the temple could really benefit from and that embraced her true passion; The Kol Tikvah Networking Group.  Rachel’s Dad, Mike, has been involved in many networking groups, including Temple Emet’s networking group, and that group was very successful.  Rachel asked her father to help her through the beginning processes of starting a networking group, and he agreed.  The Networking group started in February of this year.  The group’s profits are based on leads and we donate a portion of the profits back to Kol Tikvah.  We currently have 15 companies, and we meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7pm in the Social Hall at Kol Tikvah.  Our goal is to develop into an educational group where we have keynote speakers, and round table discussions on business goals, such as marketing ideas, how to successfully close a deal, productivity, etc.  We want this group to succeed for us individually as businesses, and give back to our Jewish community as a team.

Below is a description of how those of us who are Kol Tikvah members participate at the temple: 

*Allyson Spielman, New York Life, has been a member since 1999. Both of her kids attended preschool and religious school at Kol Tikvah.  Allyson has also been a member of the Women of Kol Tikvah and a member of the KT Choral since 1999. 

*Lori Mark, Lori's Flowers, and her family have been members of Kol Tikvah for many years, and both of her sons went to religious school and were Bar Mitzvahed at Kol Tikvah.

*Jerry Otchis, Jerald A. Otchis CPA and his wife, Marsha, are members and have been for about 18 years. 

*Rachel Randazzo, H.A.R. Transport & Towing and Home Auto Repair, and her husband, Joe, have been members since they got married three years ago.  Rachel’s family, the Reiters, have been members since Temple Emet.  Kathy Reiter has sung in the KT Choral since Temple Emet.  Rachel has been singing in the choir for the past 13 years, since she was in 7^th grade.  The Reiter family had numerous life events at Kol Tikvah, including five Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.
