Come join our Music & Movement for Infants

Our special morning will include music for young babies, movement, baby massage, tactile art, holiday appreciation, guest speakers and discussion on topics chosen by you and your needs and interests.  Come meet new moms and become better acquainted with parents and infants at Kol Tikvah Tuesday mornings from 9:15-10:30 am.

Toddler Classes are Tuesday or Friday from 9:00-10:30am

Kol Tikvah’s ECC Mommy & Me Program offers a safe and stimulating environment designed to enhance early learning, build socialization skills, and increase confidence and independence for children walking and above. Mommy & Me class is a wonderful introduction to a preschool setting with the support and comfort of mommy, daddy, or caretaker. Kol Tikvah’s ECC Mommy & Me is facilitated by trained, experienced, loving educators. While our program is designed to benefit the social, physical and emotional development of the child it also offers support and friendships for the parents too.

Program Overview:

Emphasis is on language and communication, listening skills, and socialization.

Free Play Time: using educational toys, riding toys, toy kitchen and workshop areas, puzzles, Play-Dough, blocks, and much more.

Circle Time: stories, parachute, singing, dancing, puppetry, and musical instruments.

Shabbat: We’ve got that Shabbat feeling! Each Friday we join together in the sanctuary for Kabalat Shabbat. We sing songs and dance with Rabbi Jon and Cantor Coyot as well as sing the blessings over the candles, wine and challah.

Arts & Crafts: We paint, glue, color, and create beautiful works of art for you to take home and decorate your refrigerator with or place in a scrapbook to remember your time together at Mommy and Me.

Outdoor Play: We play outdoors on our lovely play area complete with slides, sandbox, tricycles and lots of shade.
