High Holy Days 5772 (2011) PDF Print E-mail

Dear Congregant,

As we enter our Chai Anniversary year we focus on the idea of change.  An Anniversary gives us the chance to remember the beauty of the past while looking forward to the joys of the future.   While we are entering a new era of life at Kol Tikvah, we must also think of the past and how it has led us to this moment.  This High Holidays we will focus on the personal and communal life changes that we need to make as we enter into prayer and reflection. This High Holidays we will focus on ways to improve ourselves and the community.

We will ask ourselves:

  • What aspects of our lives are positive and what improvements can we make as we enter the New Year?
  • How can we increase the joy in our lives and in the lives of our family and friends?
  • How can we find beauty even during the low moments of our lives?

Travel with us this High Holiday season as we embark on a journey of self discovery and reflection.  We look forward to taking this journey with you.

L’shanah Tovah,

Rabbi Jonathan Hanish                                                Cantor Tifani Coyot
