The Mitzvah of Giving:

Temple Kol Tikvah is supported through a combination of dues, donations, school fees and fundraising programming.

It is a mitzvah to honor someone by sponsoring an Oneg Shabbat (refreshment period after the Shabbat worship service).  Families often do this on the anniversary of a loved one’s death, known as their yahrzeit, or for a special birthday or anniversary.  You may also wish to acknowledge someone’s birthday, anniversary, birth of a new baby, or other special event by making a donation to one of our synagogue funds:

  • General Fund
  • Scholarship and Dues Assistance Fund
  • Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund
  • Cantor’s Discretionary Fund and Music Fund
  • Preschool Fund
  • Religious School Scholarship Fund
  • Prayerbook Fund (includes bookplate in prayerbook)

Register your Vons and Ralphs Club Cards Today! And support your Kol Tikvah Community at absolutely no cost to you.  These organizations send us a check each quarter in appreciation of your participation.  Please help us by visiting the following websites and entering in the designated identification number.

eScrip Vons/Pavilions: www.escrip.com. Select to either enroll in the program or to renew (at the bottom of the page).  Kol Tikvah’s group ID # is 139589409.

For Ralphs card: Either log on www.ralphs.com and select at the bottom of the page Community Contribution (under Services).  Kol Tikvah’s ID # is 83217.  You may also print the following flyer Ralphs Rewards Community Contribution Program, take it to Ralphs Market next time you go shopping and hand it to the cashier, when you are ready to pay, along with your Rewards Card (this has to be done once a year!).  Thank you for your support!
