Judaism has survived throughout the ages because of its ability to adapt to, comment on, and guide each generation. While Judaism speaks about the past and looks to it for advice, its commentary is always on the present. Again and again, our texts show us ways to move forward in the world by taking righteous actions. In this series of four sessions, we will study Jewish texts that touch upon “hot” topics including but not limited to: Gun Violence, Global Warming, Equality, Reproductive Rights, and Anti-Semitism.
