DESCRIPTION:Beginning Monday\, November 2 | 7:00 p.m.&nbsp\;| Zoom | 3 Sess
ions\nAdult Education with Mollie Leibowitz |&nbsp\;Torah. Me. Mine?\nOnce
upon a time\, the Israelites stood at the foot of Mount Sinai and God off
ered them the Torah. Once upon a time\, God lifted Mount Sinai over the he
ads of the Israelites and told them: Torah or Death. Multiple schools of t
hought exist within midrashic to modern Rabbinic literature concerning the
reception and interpretation of the Torah. Exploring these agendas might
help us better understand our own connections to Torah. Over three session
s\, we will follow rabbinic accounts of the reception of the Torah\, the l
ocation of the Torah\, and the interpretation of the Torah and ask\, to wh
om does the Torah truly belong and what does it mean to me?\nSign up&nbsp\
