We are grateful to Rabbi Jon, Cantorial Soloist Joel, the guest Rabbis from Wise, our amazing choir, and the Kol Tikvah staff for the warm and meaningful High Holy Day services. More than 500 people joined us in person or virtually.
We would like to thank our community who already responded generously to our High Holy Day Appeal. For those who were not present during services, we outlined our goal of $100,000 for much needed building repairs and maintenance, and to pay our mortgage, bills, living wage salaries for our staff as well as for relevant programming. We have not yet met our goal and now, more than ever, we are dependent on you to donate today to help ensure that our temple remains a source of joy and fulfillment for generations to come. We will be running this High Holy Day Appeal through the end of the calendar year along with Giving Tuesday so that you can take advantage of tax deductions and capital gains avoidance for stock donations.
We hope to see you at Simchat Torah next Friday at 6:30 p.m. where we will dance with the Torahs and celebrate together as a community.
Chag Sameach,
Cynthia Deculus & Tina Degann Kol Tikvah Co-Presidents
