Kol Tikvah Religious School (KTRS) Mission, Vision, and Philosophy:

Our MISSION is to foster the continuity of Jewish Peoplehood through empowering education, intentional community building, and impactful social action and advocacy, making mensches (good people) to make the world a better place. 

Our VISION is one of inclusion, connection, strength, and safety for current and future generations through the learning and action we take today.

Our educational PHILOSOPHY is active engagement, accessible and expansive learning, and innovative communal programming delivered with an appreciation of diverse learning styles and needs.

Mollie Leibowitz, Religious School Director

Mollie Leibowitz is an educator and artist who holds an M.A in Educational Leadership from the Hebrew Union College. Originally from New York City, she received a B.A. in Philosophy with Minors in Judaic Studies and Studio Art from Tufts University. Mollie worked as the Springboard Ezra Fellow at the Hillel at the University of Vermont and attended the Pardes Experiential Educators Program in Jerusalem. Over the last two years, Mollie has served as a Resident Educator at Stephen S. Wise Temple and as the Assistant Religious School Director at Temple Kol Tikvah. 

Passionate about Jewish education, Mollie deeply believes in the connection between engaging, inclusive, and accessible Jewish learning and the cultivation of a strong Jewish identity. Mollie is excited to take over the role of Religious School Director of Kol Tikvah.
