Learn about healthy eating habits, importance of exercise, & things you can do for weight management for overall health benefits. You will learn how to change behaviors and gain skills to improve your health & lifestyle.

About Lisa Sage:

Lisa has her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from UC Riverside and her Master’s degree in Public Health from California State University, Northridge.  She worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services for over 26 years.  In her job as a Health Educator, Lisa developed and implemented several curricula including prenatal care, diabetes and pre-diabetes, weight management, healthy heart, smoking cessation, stress management, etc.  She became bilingual in Spanish.  She developed her own class materials, including translating them to Spanish, and taught several classes, mostly in Spanish.  Lisa became an expert at teaching diabetes education including prevention of diabetes and weight control.  She later did individual counseling for patients and encouraged her patients to improve their health.  Her patients always told her she was a great teacher and that they learned a lot.

Lisa hopes that you will attend her class and not only enjoy it but learn a lot and then practice what you learn to improve your health and lifestyle.  She offers all attendees an individual session with her, if requested, within a month after the class.
