High Holy Day Appeal- Why Give?

As the new year approaches, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and considering how to make an improvement on the year to come. Last year, several generous donors came together to create our match fund for the High Holy Day Appeal.
What happened after was an incredible show of spirit and love for our community by all of you.
With this fund, we were able to earmark dollars so that we could double any High Holy Day gift donations of $360 or higher. As a result, our average High Holy Day Appeal increased from $108 per gift to $341 in one year, and our number of gifts increased by over 30%.
We received over $80,000 last year due to the generous match donors and the increase of individual gifts!
This was the highest High Holy Day appeal in over a decade and it kept our community solvent during the most uncertain of times. When people come together for a common good, the potential for success is endless.
